Who are we
Founded by father-daughter team Nouhad and Joumana Dammous, Hospitality Services is an event management and publishing company based in the bustling capital city of Beirut, Lebanon. We organize major industry trade fairs and events for the public that stand at the heart of the region’s food, hospitality and tourism sectors. We also franchise out HORECA, a brand that has proven success across the region.
Our company’s foundations were laid back in 1993 when Nouhad pioneered Lebanon’s first hospitality college. A leader in the field of hospitality, Nouhad brought those years of experience to establish his own business with a vision to fill the regional gap and help shape the hospitality sector.
Over more than two decades, Hospitality Services has evolved to become the cornerstone of the sector in the MENA region. We’ve expanded to a talented team of almost 30 staff, while maintaining the core values of what started as a family business. We put our personality and creativity into everything we do.
At Hospitality Services we’re dedicated to socially responsible business. We continue to build strong connections with local NGOs, non-profit associations and all those working towards bettering our country. Through our exhibitions and publications we have supported associations such as Al Younbouh (Rehabilitation Center for Mentally Disabled Adults), the Association for Forests, Development and Conservation (AFDC), the Association for the Protection of Jabal Moussa, Chance (Children Against Cancer), FISTA Beirut for Special Needs, Paradis d’Enfants, Toufoula, Shouf Biosphere Reserve, DHIAFEE Program and many more.
We also have supported ADFTH (Association pour le Developpement de la Formation Hoteliere et Touristique) awarding the “Nouhad Dammous Prize of Excellence” scholarship program to a high achieving hospitality student with a $5000 prize.
We also founded the Beirut Capital of Taste initiative, promoting our capital city as the symbol of good taste and reinforcing its global reputation as a center for excellence, talent and creativity.
